Semadang Discovery Kayaking
We are excited to invite you to join us on a Semadang Discovery Kayaking tour. This tour is a great way to experience the natural beauty of Sarawak and learn about the local culture.
The Semadang River is a beautiful and pristine river that winds through lush rainforests. On your kayaking tour, you will have the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife, including Blue Banded Pita – Endemic bird of Borneo. You will also pass by bidayuh villages.
Your tour guide will provide you with all the necessary kayaking equipment and safety instructions. You do not need to have any prior kayaking experience to enjoy this tour.
After your kayaking tour, you will enjoy a buffet lunch at the finish point. You will then be transferred back to your hotel in Kuching.
This tour is perfect for Rotary convention participants who are looking for a unique and memorable experience. It is a chance to see the real Sarawak, away from the tourist crowds. You will have the opportunity to experience the natural beauty of the state and learn about the local culture.
Trip itinerary
- 0800hrs: Pick up from your hotel in Kuching and depart to Semadang Kayak base
- 0900hrs: Arrive at Semadang Kayak base and receive safety briefing and kayaking instructions
- 0930hrs: Start kayaking on the Semadang River
- 1030hrs: Take a break for swimming, stopover at mini waterfall, fish-feeding stops at Kampung Danu, and swimming spot at Sibudak riverbank
- 1400hrs: Arrive at the finish point and enjoy a lunch at Semadang Kayak base and return to Kuching
- 1600hrs: Arrive back at your hotel in Kuching
